Just when you thought beer was perfect as is, along comes some beer cocktail recipes to change the game. Here are our 3 favorites, made with local brews from Atlanta. 

CITRUS IPA

Citrus and IPAs are an incredible match. Try Three Tavern’s IPA in this citrusy treat:

1 oz citrus vodka

1 grapefruit, juiced

1 tsp simple syrup

2 oz Three Tavern’s 3 Day IPA

1 twist of lime

BLOODY MARY BREW

Skip the vodka and spike your bloody mary with a local brew. Or what the heck, add the vodka too!

8 oz Red Brick Brewery’s Hoplanta

8 oz Bloody Mary Mix

BEER FLOAT 

Sweetwater’s motto is "don't float the mainstream," but this cocktail will keep you floating all day.

2-3 scoops vanilla ice cream

4 oz Banjo’s Nitro Cold Brew Coffee

12 oz Sweetwater’s Happy Ending Imperial Stout
