Here it is—your new favorite Bloody Mary recipe, featuring none other than Doux South's drunken tomatoes and Serenbe Foods' pickled okra. Spend 10 minutes with these ingredients and you've got the perfect cocktail to go with Saturday brunch.

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup cucumber

1 lemon

4 Doux South Drunken Tomatoes in liquid

4 Serenbe Foods pickled okras in liquid

4 cups tomato juice

3/4 cup (6 oz) vodka

1 tsp minced garlic

1 tsp celery seeds

1 tsp black pepper

1 Tbsp hot sauce

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

4 skewers

4 Tbsp blackening salt

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. PREP BLOODY MARY MIX

  • Peel & seed cucumber
  • Juice half of lemon and cut remaining half into 4 wedges
  • Blend 2 Tbsp pickling liquid from Drunken Tomatoes & 2 Tbsp pickling liquid from okra into a blender, leaving tomatoes & okra aside
  • To blender, add tomato juice, lemon juice, cucumber, vodka, garlic, celery seeds & black pepper, hot sauce & Worcestershire sauce and blend until smooth

 

2. PREP GARNISH

  • Skewer the pickled okra & drunken tomatoes, alternating as you add to skewers
  • Dip tops of 4 glasses into water then roll in blackening salt

 

3. POUR & ENJOY

  • Fill each glass with ice then pour Bloody Mary over top
  • Garnish with skewered veggies & lemon wedges, and enjoy!
