Fancy toast for breakfast—is there any better way to start your day? All you need is a loaf of The General Muir’s bread to start, plus maybe a cup of coffee! (Or two...)
Avo Mash with Egg & Tomato
Top your toasted bread with half of an avocado, sliced. Use a fork to mash the avocado onto your toast and then top with halved cherry tomatoes and a soft boiled egg. We like to boil our eggs for 6 minutes--the outer egg white will be firm, and the yolk will be nearly set, but still a bit runny. Everything seasoning is perfect as a final touch, but salt and pepper will work great if you don't have everything seasoning on hand!
Banner Butter & Radish with Chives
Start with a healthy smear of Sea Salt Banner Butter (or, if you're feeling adventurous, try the Red Pepper Mash Banner Butter!) then top with 1-2 thinly sliced radishes. Chives (whole or minced) and a dash of sea salt are the final touch.
Almond Butter & Bananas
Spread almond butter onto your toast and then add thick slices of banana. Top with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon and a handful of crushed nuts--Georgia pecans are our favorite, but you could also use almonds, pistachios, or walnuts.
Ricotta, Blueberry & Mint
Ricotta cheese is the magic that kicks off this toast recipe. Dollop a large scoop onto your toast and follow with a drizzle of honey after spreading out the ricotta. Add a handful of blueberries and then fresh mint for garnish.
