The starting point for Riverview Farms' farm-milled grits is the heirloom varieties of corn that they grown in their certified organic fields. After harvest and hardening off, the entire kernel – germ, hull, and all – is stone ground by hand, using a 1916 Meadows mill.
Riverview Farms is a certified organic family farm on 200 acres in the beautiful foothills of the Appalachians in Northwest Georgia.
