5 Ways to Eat G&G Leftovers

Are your lunchtime leftovers making you feel like every day is Groundhog Day? No matter how good the meal, we all know variety is the spice of life! The solution? #putaneggonit!

Again, we turn to instagram hashtags to lead us to leftover greatness. With over 50,000 posts, these ‘gramers are on to something. Boring leftovers can be reinvented into another incredible meal by adding farm fresh eggs!

Omelet

This one is easy! Just toss whatever leftover veggies and meats you may have into a frying pan, top with lightly whipped egg and your favorite cheese then watch it transform into a delicious omelet.

Fried Rice

Fried rice is best when made using cold, already-cooked rice so you’re already one step ahead. Simply saute that rice in a little oil & soy sauce. Add leftover veggies or meats to take it to the next level. Top it with a fried egg and you’ve got yourself a treat! This works with other grains too!

Hash

Leftover root veggies? Turn those carrots, potatoes, turnips and more into a delicious hash. Just dice them up small & saute them in oil until crisp. Top with a poached egg and voila!

Baked Egg

For the ultimate leftover transformation, place leftover meats, veggies and grains in a small ramekin and break a few eggs over the top. Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes until the egg sets.

Burrito

Slice leftover meats into thin strips and pack them into a burrito with veggies & scrambled eggs for a breakfast burrito you can enjoy any time.
