A Guide to Atlanta's Farmers Markets

We waited with giddy anticipation through the winter months for the big boom that comes with Spring, and it’s finally here! We aren’t talking about the sunshine or the flowers (although those are nice too) we are talking about ::drum roll:: farmers market season!
Farmers Market season is upon us, folks, and the Atlanta farmers market scene has never been so alive! Early in the season, we have already welcomed some new markets like the Freedom Farmers Market and the Avondale Estates Farmers Market.
In the next few weeks we will welcome back some of our favorite farmers markets, many of which we will be a part of this year. To kick off a great season, here is a list of some of our favorite markets in and around the ATL.
Avondale Estates Farmers Market
When: Sundays 10am to 2pm
Where: Little Tree Art Studio at 2834 Franklin St in Avondale Estates
Opening Day: March 16th, 2014
Brookhaven Farmers Market
When: Saturdays 9am to 1pm
Where: Brookhaven Baptist Church at 1294 N Druid Hills Rd NE
Opening Day: March 29th, 2014
Decatur Farmers Market:
When: Wednesdays from 4pm to 7pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm
Where: Wednesdays at 308 Clairemont Ave in Decatur and Saturdays at 498 N McDonough St in Decatur

East Atlanta Village Farmers Market
