Cook Like Haven's Chef Stephen Herman

 

This week, cook like a chef who’s cooked in some of France’s finest restaurants—Chef Stephen Herman of Haven Restaurant & Bar. 

 

While earning his degree in culinary arts at Johnson & Wales University, Herman cooked alongside Chef Bob Waggoner. Waggoner, impressed with the the young chef, invited Herman along to France to cook in some of the country’s most prestigious restaurants. 

Herman made his way back to the States, where he is now executive chef and partner of Haven, alongside owner Michel Arnette. Using traditional Southern ingredients, Chef Herman creates his own, upscale versions of comfort food at Haven, and we can’t get enough!
