Grill Out Like a Champ This 4th of July

If you’re reading this, you probably celebrate your holidays like we do - with food! That’s why you shouldn’t just settle for any ol’ meal on the grill this 4th of July. Upgrade your cookout with these creative twists on some classics.

BLT Hot Dogs with Caraway Remoulade Slaw

For the Remoulade Slaw:

1/4 c mayo
1 t caraway seeds
1/4 T shallot, diced
1 t capers, chopped
1 c cabbage, thinly sliced
2 T chives, chopped
2 slices bacon, cooked & crumbled

For the Dogs:

2 hot dogs, grilled
2 buns, warmed
1/4 c Doux South Drunken Tomatoes, chopped

Directions:

In a bowl, whisk together mayo, caraway seeds, shallots & capers
Add cabbage, chives, crumbled bacon, Drunken Tomatoes, salt & pepper & toss to coat
Top grilled hot dogs with Caraway Remoulade Slaw & bite into your new favorite hot dog!

 

Parmesan Zucchini Fries

Ingredients:

2 c zucchini, cut into sticks
1/2 c parmesan
1/4 t thyme
1/4 t oregano
1/4 t basil
1/4 t garlic powder
1 T olive oil

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350
On a sheet pan, sprinkle zucchini with remaining ingredients, salt & pepper then toss to coat
Bake 13-15 min, until tender
