How to Make Rich & Nutty Brown Butter

With a deep, nutty flavor, it’s no wonder brown butter has made it’s way onto menus all over Atlanta. It’s culinary name is beurre noisette. It may sound fancy, but it’s super simple to make, as you’ll see in this week's Pecan Brown Butter Trout.

The magic happens but simply adding butter (we love Banner Butter) to a hot pan and melting it over medium. Give it a few stirs to make sure it cooks evenly. Foam bubbles will appear on the top of the butter and it will gradually take on a toasted brown color in just a few minutes.

It's an easy topping to any protein or great in baked goods! Simply swap brown butter for regular butter in any of your favorite holiday recipes and take those cookies to the next level.
