It's Toast Time!

Fancy toast for breakfast—is there any better way to start your day? All you need is a loaf of The General Muir’s bread to start, plus maybe a cup of coffee! (Or two...) TGM's Bea's White Loaf and Asiago Loaf are two of our favorites, but you could use the Multigrain Loaf, Pain au Levain, or even Everything Bagels for any of these ideas!

 

Avo Mash with Egg & Tomato


Top your toasted bread with half of an avocado, sliced. Use a fork to mash the avocado onto your toast and then top with tomato and a soft boiled egg. We like to boil our eggs for 6 minutes--the outer egg white will be firm, and the yolk will be nearly set, but still a bit runny. Everything seasoning is perfect as a final touch, but salt and pepper, maybe some sesame seeds and dried onion will work great if you don't have everything seasoning on hand!

 

 

Banner Butter & Radish with Chives

 

Start with a healthy smear of Sea Salt Banner Butter then top with a thinly sliced radish. Chives (whole or minced) and a grind of sea salt are the final touch.

 

 Almond Butter & Bananas

 

Spread almond butter onto your toast and then add thick slices of banana. Top with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon and a handful of crushed nuts--pecans are our favorite, but you could also use almonds, pistachios, or walnuts.

 

 

Ricotta, Blueberry & Mint

 

Ricotta cheese is the magic that kicks off this toast recipe. Dollop a large scoop onto your toast and follow with a drizzle of honey after spreading out the ricotta. Add a handful of blueberries and then fresh mint for garnish.
