Quick Pickle Guide

Quick pickling is a technique that we just couldn't live without. It's super easy and yields super delicious results, without having to plan days in advance. Add your quick pickled veggies to salads, sandwiches, a charcuterie board, you name it! 

 

 

PICKLED CUCUMBERS

1/2 cup white vinegar

2 tsp sugar

1 tsp mustard seed

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp minced garlic

2 Tbsp fresh chopped dill

1 cup sliced pickling cucumbers 

  

Heat vinegar, sugar, mustard seed, salt & garlic in a saucepan over med-high, then pour over cucumbers & dill in a heat-proof bowl. Stir to incorporate and then set aside for 20 min.

 

 

 

 

PICKLED RADISH 

1 cup sliced radishes

2/3 cup rice vinegar

2 tsp brown sugar

1 tsp ginger

1/2 tsp minced garlic

1 tsp salt

 

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and set aside for 15-20 min.

 

 

 

PICKLED RED ONION 

2/3 cup sliced red onion

1/2 cup white vinegar

1/4 cup sugar

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

 

 Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and set aside for 15-20 min.
