It's no secret that we love pork! From Riverview Farms pork chops to Pine Street Market's bacon, we love it all. But a new way to enjoy pork has popped up in our local market and we've been doing some experiements in the kitchen. Folks, rosemary ham might just be our new favorite! Here are the top 3 ways we've found to enjoy it:
MOST OBVIOUS AWARD: Ham Sandwich
Why try to top something as perfect as the ham sandwich? But take that pork to the next level by layering on H&F Bacon Bread with Red Hill Cheddar Cheese and Doux South Angry Cukes!
MOST SAVORY AWARD: Meat on Meat
When in doubt, add more meat. Spotted Trotter's rosemary ham is full of flavor and pairs great with chicken! Try it in this week's Blue Ribbon Chicken!
MOST HAM-TASTIC: Egg & Ham Breakfast Muffins
Our criteria for breakfast? Easy (check). Delicious (check). Local (check). Breakfast muffins are so easy and are great for making ahead. Simply dice up your rosemary ham and favorite veggies and place them in muffin tins. Then, whip some local eggs with milk and a little greek yogurt (for extra fluffiness) and pour over ham & veggie mixture. Sprinke some Red Hill cheddar over the top and bake then at 350 for 25-30 minutes. Now you've got yourself a delicous breakfast on the go!
