Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with this Guinness Pie Recipe

Ingredients:
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 1 lb lamb
- 1/2 large onlon, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- G&G Lamb Spice (1 t coriander, 1 t white pepper, 1 t dried orange zest)
- 1 Tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
- 1/2 cup carrot, diced
- 1/2 cup potato, diced
- 1 1/2 Tbsp tomato paste
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 1/4 cup water
- 1 bouillon cube
- 2/3 cup Guinness Beer
- 1 egg
- 1/2 lb puff pastry
Directions
- Preheat ovento 350 degrees
- Heat oil in a large saute pan over medium heat
- Add lamb, onion, garlic & G&G Lamb Spice & cook 5-6 minutes
- Add carrots & potatoes & cook 3-4 minutes
- Add tomato paste & cook, stirring, 1-2 minutes
- Add flour & cook, stirring, for 2-3 min until well incorporated
- Slowly add water, beer, bouillon cube & thyme & cook over med-high for 4-5 min until sauce begins to thicken
- Add salt & pepper to tate
- Transfer filling to a baking dish
- Roll out puff pastry to about 1/4 inch thickness & drape oer bakind dish
- In a bowl, combine egg wiht 1 tsp water then brush dough with egg mixture
- Bake 25 minutes, until golden brown
- Enjoy with a cold Guinness!
