Ditch the Bread Crumbs for These Healthy Alternatives

A juicy piece of meat or fish with a nice crispy crust is always a good idea, but it seems that bread crumbs have a monopoly on the crust game. Try one of these healthy alternatives and open a whole new world of crunchy crusts! 

The most basic recipe for getting the perfect crust on a piece of meat is simple. First, place flour in a shallow bowl. Next, whisk an egg and a dash of water in a second bowl. Last, place your crust-of-choice in a third bowl. Work in an assembly line to dip your meat in the flour, then the egg, then the crust and transfer straight to a hot pan. Voila!
