How to Cut Kholrabi

Don't let this alien-like produce intimidate you. It may have a tough skin, but on the inside it's as tender as a teddy bear! Getting to that sweet inside isn't hard at all! Just follow these easy steps!

1. Peel it! Cut the stems right where they meet the root and discard. Using a small, sharp knife or a good veggie peeler, remove the tough outer skin

2. Core it! Cut the kholrabi into quarters lengthwise (north pole to south pole). Turning the quarters on their side, slice off and discard the 'south pole' or the core of the kohlrabi.

3. Enjoy it! What remains is what you will eat! So slice it, dice it, shave it and just take a big-ol-bite!
