Rosemary Greyhound

Batched cocktails make life a little bit easier when you’re planning a get-together. Just mix the ingredients together and serve in a large pitcher or drink dispenser and you’re all set! This recipe for a Rosemary Greyhound makes 8 servings.

INGREDIENTS:

½ cup water

½ cup sugar

2 sprigs rosemary, plus more for garnish

1 ½ cups vodka

4 cups grapefruit juice

Grapefruit slices for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Heat water & sugar together in a small pot over high heat, but don’t bring to a boil—heat just until the    sugar is completely dissolved, then remove from heat and add rosemary sprigs
  • Steep for 30 min—1 hour (the longer it steeps, the more flavor the syrup will have), then remove rosemary stems and discard
  • Combine rosemary simple syrup, vodka & grapefruit juice in a pitcher, then stir and chill
  • Right before serving, stir again, then serve over crushed ice, garnishing with grapefruit slices & rosemary sprigs

Enjoy!
