The 2021 Thanksgiving Menu

With the holidays just around the corner, give yourself a break and leave Thanksgiving planning and prep to us! We've curated a menu of perfectly crowd-pleasing apps, sides, desserts, and even a turkey brining kit.

Email us to pre-order turkeys now (only available while supplies last!) and order kits online between Fri 11/12 and Thurs 11/18 for delivery Sun 11/21 or Mon 11/22–just in time for Thanksgiving. In addition to our kits, Sweet Auburn BBQ's prepared Thanksgiving sides, Little Tart pies, and Heavenly Cakes' gluten-free pies are available to order. Talk about an easy Thanksgiving feast!

 

 

All Natural Turkeys

These whole fresh (no need to thaw!) birds from Joe Jurgielewicz & Son can't be beat in flavor and tenderness! They're perfect to go in our Turkey Trimmings Kit this year. These turkeys are antibiotic- and growth hormone-free, and they roam freely in large open pastures in Pennsylvania.

We are accepting turkey pre-orders while supplies last. Email us at info@garnishandgather.com to reserve your turkey, which will be delivered on Sun 11/21 or Mon 11/22.

Small birds: 10–14 pounds, $62

Large birds: 16–20 pounds, $84

 

 

Turkey Trimmings Kit with juniper-herb brine & roasted garlic gravy

This kit* has everything you need to prep and serve your turkey G&G style! Place your turkey in a brine including juniper berries, herbs, garlic & brown sugar, then let the flavors mingle overnight. Coat the outside with butter for deliciously crispy skin, then roast to mouthwatering perfection. Carve your turkey then serve with a smooth, luscious gravy featuring roasted garlic, fresh sage & thyme.

Small kit: for a turkey breast or small turkey (under 14 lb), $18

Large kit: for a medium or large turkey (15 lb or more), $25

Pumpkin Cornbread Muffins with pepitas & whipped salted honey butter

These cornbread muffins are easy as can be, impossibly moist and beautifully orange-hued with the addition of pumpkin! Mix together a batter made with Riverview Farms cornmeal, Rise 'N Shine organic eggs, sour cream, pumpkin purée & a touch of brown sugar. Sprinkle the tops with pepitas and bake to perfection. Serve warm with a swipe of homemade whipped salted honey butter.

Fall Frisée & Pear Salad with arugula, goat cheese & sherry vinaigrette

This elegant and delightfully easy salad featuring some of our fall favorites deserves a place at the center of your table! Toss together curly frisée, arugula & endive for the base of your salad, then top with thin slices of sweet red pears, toasted hazelnuts & crumbled CalyRoad goat cheese. Drizzle it all with a piquant sherry vinaigrette made with hazelnut oil.

Spiced Cranberry Orange Chutney with apple, white balsamic & fresh herbs

Brighten up your Thanksgiving turkey and trimmings with this citrusy twist on classic cranberry sauce! Combine a colorful mix of fresh & dried cranberries with a fresh squeeze of orange, a splash of white balsamic & crisp B.J. Reece Orchards apples. Simmer with autumnal spices then finish with fresh mint & chives for a cranberry sauce that guests will be requesting for years to come!

Glazed Brussels Sprouts with bacon, balsamic & pomegranate arils

We've got the perfect veggie side for your Thanksgiving feast–it cooks on the stove in no time, saving precious oven real estate for your turkey! Brown Brussels sprouts in a skillet, then glaze with a delightfully tangy-sweet mixture including balsamic & brown sugar, and let cook to tender perfection. Top with crispy Pine Street Market bacon & juicy pomegranate arils.

Spinach Artichoke Mac 'n Cheese with fresh pasta, gruyère & parmesan

For an elevated take on universally-loved macaroni & cheese, whip up this comforting dish that's sure to appeal to everyone at the table. Fold an indulgent gruyere & parmesan cheese sauce with Pasta Mami mini shells, then stir in a healthy dose of spinach & artichoke hearts. Sprinkle with more cheese and bake to golden, bubbly goodness.

Pecan Brown Butter Torte with buttermilk glaze & maple candied nuts

Look no further for a low-effort showstopper dessert to serve as a sweet ending to your Thanksgiving feast! Whip up a batter made with nutty brown butter, New Ground Orchards pecan meal & fluffy egg whites. Bake to fragrant perfection, then coat cooled cake with a vanilla buttermilk glaze and top with crunchy homemade maple candied pecans.
