We’re Bringing Toasty Back

It’s official: artisanal toast is the new ‘it’ craze. New toast bars are popping up all along the West coast and it’s only a matter of time until we start seeing it here in good ol’ Georgia. (fingers crossed!)

Why the craze for toast, you ask? If you have to ask, you’ve obviously never enjoyed a freshly baked slice of H&F bread, toasted to perfection with a specialty topping like Banner Butter with cinnamon or figs. Bread has long been dubbed the villain so it certainly deserves it’s day in the sun! Like Julia Childs said “Everything in moderation, including moderation!

That’s why we are bringing toasty back! This week’s Super Power Green Soup from our new partner, Souper Jenny, will be paired with a toast to rival the West coast toast bars. Freshly baked Pan Au Levain Batard bread with Banner Butter’s Sea Salt Butter and fresly picked French radishes then sprinkled with parsley.
